Fantastic night at The Westgarth on Thursday 16th June – despite the football there was still a fantastic turn out who were treated to an awesome nights entertainment.
Charlie Thomas kicked things off in great style and found himself some new fans who were won over by his one man show and his take on vintage Americana songwriting.
Pauline Murray from Penetration was next up and although very nervous performed a fantastic 30 minute set of acoustic versions of Penetration classics and unrecorded solo material. Despite the nerves the crowd were enthralled and gave her a wonderful reception.
Dead Men Walking were the highlight of the night. A mix of classic songs from SOD/TOH, The Ruts and SLF all interspersed with stories and jokes.
A great nights entertainment and hopefully one to be repeated again next year.
