In just under 4 weeks the final shows of 2015 take place on successive nights.
First up on Thursday 3rd December at the Georgian Theatre Stockton is the return of the mighty Theatre of Hate. Teesside has become the second home for what ever vehicle kirk Brandon takes out on the road. A massive sell out TOH show in 2013, numerous sell out Spear Of Destiny shows and even a run of sell out akoustiK shows it’s been busy every night since first promoting SOD back in Feb 2011.
The line up features original members Stan Stammers & John Boy Lennard along side Kirk plus SOD guitarist Adrian Portas and on drums for these shows ex Thomson Twin and the 1st SOD drummer Chris Bell.
The band will also be releasing new material with tracks recorded with a new album in mind for 2016. Hopefully there will be something out as well before the December shows.
Support on what is a packed night comes from the iconic Spizz Energi. Numerous line up changes and various names over nearly 40 years of existence the only consistent thing about Spizz is the quality of the high octane shows that Spizz puts on. Featuring classics like Where’s Captain Kirk, Soldier Soldier along side newer material such as the new single City Of Eyes a good time is all but guaranteed as anyone who saw their show at The Westgarth in Middlesbrough in May will agree.
This is sure to be a fantastic evening for my final show of 2015 (on Teesside), tickets have been selling steadily and are availble from the venue box office & usual on line outlets but don’t hang around as it’s unlikely that tickets will be available on the door.
