New Shows For 2014

A busy start then 2014 – Secret affair are the latest addition to the confirmed shows for this year. Formed in 1979 and the leaders of the so called Mod revival they’re actually just a very good band and The Georgian will be packed to the rafters on September 6th for their only North East show.

Support comes from2 fine local bands The Lemontops & Acoustic Weller

The first show of the year is on March 1st when The Space Agency play The Green Room with support from The Silver Trees.

This gig is sold out.

That same week Theatre of Hate & Spear of Destiny main man Kirk Brandon returns to Stockton for 2 solo acoustic shows on March 6th & 7th.

The first night sold out in 2 days so a second night was added & there are a limited amount of tickets available for the 7th.

Support is from Alarm guitarist Dave sharp who has written many of their classic songs.

To round off a busy month Ferryhill’s finest – Penetration return to the Georgian Theatre. After a sell out show in August 2011 they return with support from Leeds punksters The Cyanide Pills & Rexine who make their third appearance in Stockton.

Tickets for this one have sold steadily over the Christmas/New Year period and whilst there are tickets available now I don’t expect there to be any available on the night.

April & May sees shows from UK Decay and a Martin Stephenson solo acoustic show. The latter possibly featuring a surprise support act – that’s not confirmed yet but hopefully so. More on these 2 shows later.

There are 2 or 3 other shows in the pipeline which need a few loose ends tying up before I can announce them.
